Where is Sandlake Country Inn?
Some of the most often asked questions we get when people are deciding on where to stay is “Where are you located?” and “How far are you from the ocean?”
With Google’s new enhanced satellite views, it’s much easier to answer those questions. Click on images to make them larger.
As the crow flies, we’re only about 1 mile to the ocean. When it’s high tide, we can hear the sound of the ocean at Sandlake Country Inn. In about 2 minutes you can drive to the fishermen’s day use area at Sand Lake Estuary. We LOVE to walk this beach area. Even in the middle of summer you can often be the only people out there. Walk in the sand around the edge of the estuary and out to the surf waves. It takes about 10 minutes to walk the edge of the estuary out to the surf.
Here is Sandlake Country Inn on an aerial view. We’re a little oasis in the middle of green. Did you know that the 167 acres on all 3 sides of our bed and breakfast are now being protected by the North Coast Land Conservancy? NCLC is doing a fantastic job of protecting our wetlands and sensitive areas for future generations.

On the homepage of our website we describe our location as: “Sandlake Country Inn, our Oregon Coast bed and breakfast, is a romantic hideaway in a rural setting approximately 1 mile from the ocean and just 10 minutes north of Haystack Rock in Pacific City.” I think we hit the nail on the head, don’t you?
